  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the sliced flank steak, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch. Toss to coat the beef and set aside.
  • In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of sesame oil. Add the minced ginger and garlic, and stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the sliced red and yellow bell peppers, along with the snap peas, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the chicken broth, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and the remaining tablespoon of soy sauce. Pour the sauce into the skillet with the vegetables and bring to a simmer.
  • Return the cooked beef to the skillet and toss to coat everything in the sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the beef is heated through.
