Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine 1 lb ground chicken, 1 small finely chopped onion, soaked white bread, 1 beaten egg, 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
  • Mix the ingredients until well combined.
  • Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each into a flat oval patty.
  • Coat each patty with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  • Heat 3 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Transfer the cooked patties to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
