Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 slices of white bread, crusts removed and soaked in milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine 1 lb ground chicken, 1 small finely chopped onion, soaked white bread, 1 beaten egg, 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
- Mix the ingredients until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each into a flat oval patty.
- Coat each patty with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- Heat 3 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Transfer the cooked patties to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
- Serve hot with mashed potatoes or a side salad. Enjoy!
