Pineapple Agua Fresca is a refreshing Mexican beverage with a rich history dating back to pre-Columbian times. This traditional drink is made by blending fresh pineapple, water, and a touch of sweetener, creating a delightful and hydrating concoction. The tropical flavors of pineapple combined with the lightness of the water make it a perfect choice for warm weather. Chefs and restaurants in Mexico and the southwestern United States have perfected this recipe, often adding a hint of lime or mint for an extra burst of flavor. For the best version of this drink, seek out ripe, juicy pineapples and use natural sweeteners like agave nectar or honey.
