  • In a large skillet, cook the diced pancetta over medium heat until crispy. Remove the pancetta from the skillet and set aside, leaving the rendered fat in the skillet.
  • Add the chopped onion to the skillet with the rendered fat and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  • Pour in the crushed tomatoes and bring the sauce to a simmer. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the cooked pasta and crispy pancetta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to combine and heat through.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
