Ingredients
- 1 pound pizza dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Divide the pizza dough into 4 equal pieces and roll each piece into a 6-inch circle on a lightly floured surface.
- In a small bowl, mix together the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, tomato sauce, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Place a quarter of the cheese mixture on one half of each dough circle, leaving a small border around the edge.
- Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and press the edges firmly to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges.
- Place the panzerotti on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush the tops with olive oil, and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
