Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons oyster sauce, 1/4 cup beef broth, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, and 1/4 cup water. Set aside.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  • Add 1/4 cup chopped garlic and 1 teaspoon grated ginger to the skillet. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the thinly sliced beef to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add 2 cups of sliced mushrooms and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until tender.
  • Return the beef to the skillet and pour the sauce mixture over the beef and mushrooms. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and mushrooms.
