Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup chopped garlic
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons oyster sauce, 1/4 cup beef broth, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, and 1/4 cup water. Set aside.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add 1/4 cup chopped garlic and 1 teaspoon grated ginger to the skillet. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the thinly sliced beef to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add 2 cups of sliced mushrooms and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until tender.
- Return the beef to the skillet and pour the sauce mixture over the beef and mushrooms. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and mushrooms.
- Drizzle 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over the stir-fry and toss to combine.
