  • In a small bowl, mix together 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
  • Cut a pocket into each chicken breast, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  • Stuff each chicken breast with the cheese mixture, dividing it evenly among the 4 breasts.
  • Secure the openings with toothpicks to hold the cheese inside.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
