Middle Eastern Kofta Kebab

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 metal or wooden skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine 1 lb of ground beef, 1 small finely chopped onion, 2 minced cloves of garlic, 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley, 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro, 1 tsp of ground cumin, 1 tsp of ground coriander, 1/2 tsp of paprika, 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Mix the ingredients together until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion around a skewer, forming a sausage-like shape.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Place the kofta kebabs on the grill and cook for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is cooked through and slightly charred on the outside.
- Remove from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve the kofta kebabs with pita bread, hummus, and a salad for a complete Middle Eastern meal.
