Ingredients
- 4 live Maine lobsters (1 1/4 pounds each)
- 2 pounds of red potatoes
- 4 ears of corn, husked and halved
- 1 pound of littleneck clams
- 1 pound of mussels
- 1 pound of Andouille sausage, sliced
- 1/2 cup of melted butter
- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
- 4 lemons, quartered
- Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Add 2 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning and salt to taste.
- Add the red potatoes to the pot and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add the corn, clams, mussels, and Andouille sausage to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Carefully add the live lobsters to the pot and cook for 12-15 minutes until they turn bright red and the internal temperature reaches 135°F.
- While the seafood is cooking, mix the melted butter with the chopped parsley and a pinch of Old Bay seasoning in a small bowl.
- Once the seafood is cooked, drain the pot and transfer the contents to a large serving platter or directly onto a table lined with newspaper or butcher paper.
- Serve the Maine Lobster Bake with the melted butter mixture, lemon wedges, and additional Old Bay seasoning on the side.
