Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 cloves of minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes, 1/2 teaspoon of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, and the juice of 1 fresh lemon.
  • Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over the shrimp. Seal the bag and toss to coat the shrimp evenly. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  • Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers, season with salt and pepper, and grill for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  • Remove the shrimp from the grill and place on a serving platter. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley and 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh cilantro. Serve hot and enjoy!
