  • 1 lb of beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 4 cups of cooked white rice
  • 1 cup of shredded carrots
  • 1 cup of bean sprouts
  • 1 cup of sliced cucumber
  • 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
  • 4 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

  • 4 cups of cooked white rice
  • 1 cup of shredded carrots
  • 1 cup of bean sprouts
  • 1 cup of sliced cucumber
  • 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
  • 4 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, minced garlic, and sesame oil. Add the thinly sliced beef and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed and sauté the shredded carrots, bean sprouts, sliced cucumber, and mushrooms separately until tender. Season with salt and pepper.
  • In a separate non-stick pan, fry the eggs sunny-side up or to your desired doneness.
  • To assemble the bibimbap, divide the cooked rice among 4 bowls. Arrange the cooked beef and sautéed vegetables on top of the rice. Place a fried egg on each bowl.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
  • Serve immediately and mix everything together before eating.
