Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder. Form the mixture into 4 large patties.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, cook the beef patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
  • While the patties are cooking, place the sweet potato fries on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing a beef patty on the bottom half of each hamburger bun. Top with 2 slices of bacon, a few slices of avocado, and the top half of the bun.
