Honey Garlic Grilled Shrimp

Created by: Howcan Team

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup of honey, 3 cloves of minced garlic, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds, and 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes.
  • Season the peeled and deveined shrimp with salt and pepper, then place them in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour half of the honey garlic marinade over the shrimp, reserving the other half for later. Toss the shrimp to coat evenly, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to marinate.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers, then lightly oil the grill grates. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp.
  • During the last minute of grilling, brush the reserved honey garlic marinade over the shrimp to glaze them. Remove the shrimp from the grill and transfer them to a serving platter.
  • Garnish the grilled shrimp with fresh chopped parsley and serve hot. Enjoy!
