Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of honey, 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 4 cloves of minced garlic, 1 tsp of grated ginger, 2 tbsp of olive oil, 1/2 tsp of salt, and 1/4 tsp of black pepper.
- Place the chicken wings in a large bowl and pour the honey garlic marinade over them. Toss to coat the wings evenly.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
- While the wings are baking, pour the remaining marinade into a small saucepan and simmer over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, or until it thickens into a glaze.
- Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and brush the glaze over the wings.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
