Created by: Howcan Team

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons chili oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix 2 cups of flour with 1/2 cup of water to form a dough. Knead the dough for 5 minutes, then cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • In another bowl, combine 1 pound of ground pork, 1/4 cup of soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green onions, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness. Use a round cutter to cut out circles of dough.
  • Place a small spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal, creating a half-moon shape.
  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Carefully drop the dumplings into the boiling water and cook for 5-6 minutes, or until they float to the surface. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain.
  • In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup of rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons of chili oil, and 1 teaspoon of sugar to make the spicy dipping sauce.
  • Serve the dumplings hot with the spicy dipping sauce on the side. Enjoy!
