The Grilled Salmon Caesar Salad is a modern twist on the classic Caesar salad, featuring a perfectly grilled fillet of salmon atop a bed of crisp romaine lettuce, tossed in a creamy Caesar dressing and finished with Parmesan cheese and croutons. This dish has its roots in the Pacific Northwest, where the abundance of fresh salmon inspired chefs to incorporate it into traditional recipes. Renowned chefs like Tom Douglas in Seattle have put their own spin on this dish, using local ingredients to create a unique flavor profile. The key to a perfect Grilled Salmon Caesar Salad lies in the quality of the salmon and the balance of flavors in the dressing. For a delicious alternative, consider using smoked salmon or adding a touch of citrus to the dressing. Today, some of the best versions of this dish can be found in waterfront restaurants along the West Coast, where diners can enjoy the freshest salmon paired with the classic flavors of a Caesar salad.
