Ingredients
- 2 pounds of octopus
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons of dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the octopus and cook for 30-40 minutes until tender. Drain and let it cool.
- Once cooled, cut the octopus into smaller pieces, about 2-3 inches in length.
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Brush the octopus pieces with the olive oil mixture.
- Place the octopus pieces on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until they have a nice char.
- Remove the grilled octopus from the grill and serve with lemon wedges.
