  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together 3 cloves of minced garlic, 1/4 cup of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of lemon zest, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes.
  • Place the peeled and deveined shrimp in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over the shrimp. Seal the bag and shake to coat the shrimp evenly. Marinate in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread the shrimp onto skewers, if desired, or place them directly on the grill grates.
  • Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp as they can become tough.
  • Remove the shrimp from the grill and place them on a serving platter. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately. Enjoy!
