  • While the potatoes are cooking, season the kangaroo steaks with salt, pepper, and minced garlic. Drizzle with olive oil and rub the seasoning into the meat.
  • Grill the kangaroo steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to your desired level of doneness. Remove from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  • In a separate pot, heat the milk and butter over low heat until the butter is melted.
  • Mash the cooked potatoes and gradually add the warm milk and butter mixture, continuing to mash until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve the grilled kangaroo steaks with a generous portion of garlic mashed potatoes.
