Ingredients
- 1 loaf of Italian bread
- 1/2 cup of butter, softened
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup of pizza sauce
- 1/4 cup of sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup of sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup of sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon of dried basil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise and place on a baking sheet, cut side up.
- In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of softened butter and 4 cloves of minced garlic.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
- Sprinkle 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese over the garlic butter.
- Spread 1/2 cup of pizza sauce over the Parmesan cheese.
- Evenly distribute 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese over the pizza sauce.
- Top with 1/4 cup of sliced pepperoni, 1/4 cup of sliced black olives, and 1/4 cup of sliced mushrooms.
- Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano and 1/4 teaspoon of dried basil over the toppings.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
