- 1 pound linguine
- 2 pounds mussels, cleaned and debearded
- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 8 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the mussels, shrimp, white wine, and chicken broth to the skillet. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the mussels have opened and the shrimp is pink and cooked through. Discard any unopened mussels.
- Add the cooked linguine to the skillet with the mussels and shrimp. Toss to combine and coat the pasta with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot, with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
