Spicy Extra Garlic Beef and Broccoli

Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Cooked white rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp oyster sauce, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp cornstarch, 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes, and 1/4 cup water. Set aside.
- Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the thinly sliced flank steak and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add another 1 tbsp of vegetable oil. Add 4 cloves of minced garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add 3 cups of broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet. Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli evenly.
- Drizzle 1 tsp of sesame oil over the beef and broccoli stir-fry and toss to combine.
- Serve the spicy extra garlic beef and broccoli over cooked white rice. Enjoy!
