Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • In a small skillet, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
  • Add the cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until they start to soften. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the chopped basil.
  • Top each toasted baguette slice with the tomato and basil mixture.
  • Drizzle the crostini with balsamic glaze and serve immediately.
