Instructions

  • In a shallow dish, mix together 1 cup of breadcrumbs, 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon of dried basil, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
  • Dip each chicken breast in the beaten egg, then dredge in the breadcrumb mixture, coating evenly.
  • Place the coated chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Pour 1 cup of marinara sauce over the chicken breasts.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
