Mediterranean

The history of Chicken Kebab dates back to the Middle East, where it was traditionally prepared on skewers over an open flame. This succulent dish has since spread worldwide, with each region adding its own unique twist. The addition of extra garlic sauce elevates the flavors, creating a tantalizing experience for the taste buds. Renowned chefs in Turkey, Lebanon, and Greece have perfected the art of marinating the chicken in a blend of spices and yogurt, resulting in tender, juicy kebabs. Today, the best version of this dish can be found in authentic Middle Eastern restaurants, where the garlic sauce is made with fresh garlic, lemon juice, and creamy tahini. The key to a perfect Chicken Kebab lies in the marination process, where the chicken absorbs the flavors of garlic, paprika, and cumin, resulting in a mouthwatering delight. For a unique twist, some chefs also grill the kebabs over charcoal for a smoky aroma. Whether enjoyed with pita bread or rice, the extra garlic sauce adds a creamy, zesty kick that leaves a lasting impression.
