Italian

Chicken Alfredo is a classic Italian-American dish that originated in the United States. It is a creamy pasta dish made with fettuccine, chicken, and a rich Alfredo sauce. The dish is believed to have been created by Roman restaurateur Alfredo di Lelio in the early 20th century. The dish gained popularity in the United States after di Lelio's recipe was brought to New York City. Today, Chicken Alfredo is a staple in Italian-American cuisine and can be found on the menus of many Italian restaurants across the country. For the best Chicken Alfredo, look for a restaurant with a skilled chef who can create a velvety, flavorful Alfredo sauce and perfectly cooked chicken. Alternatively, you can also try making it at home using high-quality ingredients such as fresh pasta, Parmesan cheese, and tender chicken breast.
