Ingredients
- 1 loaf of French bread
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place on a baking sheet, cut side up.
- In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of softened butter, 3 cloves of minced garlic, 1/4 cup of chopped parsley, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the French bread.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese over the garlic butter mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
