Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  • In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of softened butter, 3 cloves of minced garlic, 1/4 cup of chopped parsley, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
  • Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the French bread.
  • Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese over the garlic butter mixture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
