Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups of flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  • Stir in 1/2 cup of melted butter and 1/2 cup of milk until a soft dough forms.
  • Fold in 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon of dried Italian herbs, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper until well combined.
  • Transfer the dough onto the prepared baking sheet and press it into a 10x12 inch rectangle.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and starting to brown.
  • Remove from the oven and brush the top with 1/4 cup of melted butter. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
  • Using a pizza cutter, slice the breadsticks into 12 equal portions. Serve warm and enjoy!
