Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon of dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon of dried rosemary
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 cups of flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
- Stir in 1/2 cup of milk and the melted butter until a dough forms.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 1-2 minutes.
- Roll the dough into a 12x8 inch rectangle.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border along the long edges.
- Fold the dough in half lengthwise, sealing the edges.
- Cut the dough into 12 strips and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder, 1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1/4 teaspoon of dried basil, 1/4 teaspoon of dried thyme, 1/4 teaspoon of dried rosemary, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
- Sprinkle the cheese and herb mixture over the breadsticks.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the breadsticks are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
