Ingredients
- 1 lb of sirloin steak
- 2 cups of cherry tomatoes, halved
- 8 oz of fresh mozzarella, sliced
- 1/4 cup of fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup of balsamic glaze
- 2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Season the sirloin steak with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Grill the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to desired doneness. Remove from grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- In a large bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil leaves.
- Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil over the salad and gently toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Divide the salad onto 4 plates.
- Slice the grilled steak and arrange on top of the salad.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze over the steak and salad.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
