Instructions

  • Start by building a campfire and allowing it to burn down to hot coals.
  • Place a cast iron skillet or aluminum foil on a grill grate over the hot coals to preheat.
  • Spread a layer of tortilla chips in the preheated skillet or on the aluminum foil.
  • Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese over the chips.
  • Add half of the shredded chicken, diced tomatoes, red onion, and jalapenos on top of the cheese and chips.
  • Repeat the layers with the remaining tortilla chips, shredded cheese, chicken, tomatoes, red onion, and jalapenos.
