Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
- 4 ears of corn, shucked and cut into thirds
- 1 pound baby potatoes
- 1 onion, quartered
- 4 cloves garlic, smashed
- 2 lemons, halved
- 4 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon black peppercorns
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 8 cups water
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine 8 cups of water, 4 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning, 2 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning, 1 tablespoon of paprika, 1 tablespoon of cayenne pepper, 1 tablespoon of black peppercorns, and 1 tablespoon of salt. Bring to a boil.
- Add the baby potatoes, onion, and garlic to the pot. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Add the smoked sausage and corn to the pot. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Add the shrimp to the pot and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque.
- Squeeze the lemon halves into the pot and then add them to the mixture.
- Using a slotted spoon, transfer the shrimp boil to a large serving platter or bowl.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
