Buffalo Cauliflower Bites have become a popular vegetarian alternative to traditional buffalo wings. Originating in the United States, this dish gained popularity in the early 2010s as a healthier and meat-free option for those craving the spicy, tangy flavors of buffalo sauce. Chefs and home cooks alike have put their own spin on this dish, with variations in batter, seasonings, and cooking methods. The best versions of this dish can be found in trendy gastropubs and vegetarian restaurants in cities like New York, Los Angeles, and Portland. The key to nailing this dish lies in achieving the perfect balance of crispy cauliflower and bold, zesty buffalo sauce. Some alternative methods include air frying or grilling the cauliflower for a unique twist on this classic dish.
