  • In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the diced onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
  • Once the beef is browned, drain any excess fat from the skillet.
  • Add the chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to the skillet, stirring to coat the beef evenly with the spices.
  • Pour in the beef broth and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the liquid has reduced and the beef is flavorful and moist.
  • While the beef is simmering, warm the tortillas in a separate skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side.
  • To assemble the tacos, spoon the beef mixture onto the warm tortillas and top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, and chopped cilantro.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
