Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of water
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 cup of panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons of sriracha sauce
- 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of water, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper to create a batter.
- Place 1 cup of panko breadcrumbs in a separate bowl.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, then roll it in the panko breadcrumbs, ensuring it is evenly coated. Place the coated florets on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the cauliflower in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
- While the cauliflower is baking, prepare the spicy sriracha BBQ glaze. In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce, 2 tablespoons of sriracha sauce, 2 tablespoons of maple syrup, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, and 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the glaze thickens slightly, about 5 minutes.
- Once the cauliflower is done baking, remove it from the oven and transfer it to a large bowl. Pour the spicy sriracha BBQ glaze over the cauliflower and toss to coat evenly.
- Serve the spicy sriracha BBQ cauliflower wings immediately, and enjoy!
