  • In one shallow dish, place 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour. In another shallow dish, beat 2 eggs. In a third shallow dish, combine 1 cup of panko breadcrumbs, 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
  • Dip each asparagus spear into the flour, then into the beaten eggs, and finally into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere. Place the coated asparagus spears on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
