Ingredients
- 1 baguette
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Slice the baguette into 1-inch thick slices, but do not cut all the way through the bottom, so the slices are still attached.
- In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of softened butter, 2 cloves of minced garlic, 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley, 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh chives, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
- Spread the herb butter mixture between the slices of the baguette, making sure to cover each slice evenly.
- Wrap the baguette in aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the butter has melted and the bread is warm.
- Remove the baguette from the oven, unwrap the foil, and serve immediately. Enjoy!
