Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together 1 lb of ground beef, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.
- Divide the seasoned ground beef into 8 equal portions and flatten each portion into a thin patty.
- Place 1/4 cup of crumbled bacon and a few slices of avocado onto 4 of the patties. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the bacon and avocado. Top each with another patty and press the edges to seal, forming 4 stuffed burgers.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the stuffed burgers for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, toss the sweet potato fries with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake the sweet potato fries in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown, flipping once halfway through the cooking time.
- Toast the hamburger buns in a toaster or on a skillet.
- Assemble the burgers by placing each stuffed patty on a toasted bun. Serve with the crispy sweet potato fries.
