  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp honey, and 2 tbsp sesame oil to create the marinade.
  • Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for 10 minutes.
  • While the salmon is marinating, spread 1/2 cup sesame seeds on a plate.
  • Remove the salmon from the marinade and press each fillet into the sesame seeds to coat the top side.
  • Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, sesame seed side down, and cook for 3-4 minutes until the seeds are golden brown.
  • Carefully flip the salmon fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve the sesame crusted salmon hot, and enjoy!
