Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp honey, and 2 tbsp sesame oil to create the marinade.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for 10 minutes.
- While the salmon is marinating, spread 1/2 cup sesame seeds on a plate.
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and press each fillet into the sesame seeds to coat the top side.
- Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, sesame seed side down, and cook for 3-4 minutes until the seeds are golden brown.
- Carefully flip the salmon fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the sesame crusted salmon hot, and enjoy!
