Wonton Soup

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/4 cup finely chopped shrimp
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 24 square wonton wrappers
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 cup bok choy, chopped
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine 1/2 pound ground pork, 1/4 cup finely chopped shrimp, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, and 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper.
- Place 1 teaspoon of the pork mixture onto the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, then fold the wonton wrapper in half to create a triangle. Press the edges to seal.
- In a large pot, bring 8 cups of chicken broth to a boil. Carefully add the wontons and cook for 4-5 minutes, or until they float to the top and are cooked through.
- Add 1 cup of chopped bok choy and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with thinly sliced green onions.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
