Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine 1/2 pound ground pork, 1/4 cup finely chopped shrimp, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, and 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper.
  • Place 1 teaspoon of the pork mixture onto the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, then fold the wonton wrapper in half to create a triangle. Press the edges to seal.
  • In a large pot, bring 8 cups of chicken broth to a boil. Carefully add the wontons and cook for 4-5 minutes, or until they float to the top and are cooked through.
  • Add 1 cup of chopped bok choy and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with thinly sliced green onions.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
