Ingredients
- 1 lb ground wild boar meat
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine 1 lb ground wild boar meat, 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup finely chopped onion, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup milk, 1 beaten egg, 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
- Mix the ingredients until well combined, but do not overmix.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
- Spread 1/4 cup barbecue sauce over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
