Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground lamb
- 1 small onion, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine 1/2 pound of ground beef and 1/2 pound of ground lamb.
- Add 1 small grated onion, 2 minced cloves of garlic, 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley, 1 teaspoon of ground cumin, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of ground coriander, 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper to the bowl.
- Mix in 1/4 cup of bread crumbs and 1 beaten egg until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small oval-shaped meatballs, about 1 inch in size.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
- Serve the Turkish kofte with pita bread, rice, or salad, and enjoy!
