  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 tomato slices
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons ketchup
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine 1 lb of ground turkey, 1/4 cup breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup chopped onion, 1/4 cup chopped parsley, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. Mix well and form into 4 patties.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the turkey patties and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  • While the patties are cooking, heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil in another skillet over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  • During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each turkey patty to melt.
  • Toast the hamburger buns until lightly golden.
  • To assemble the burgers, spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon of ketchup on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a turkey patty, a fried egg, a lettuce leaf, and a tomato slice. Place the top half of the bun on top.
  • Serve the turkey burgers with fried eggs immediately and enjoy!
