The Tropical Turkey Burger with a coconut milk and lime marinade is a flavorful and refreshing twist on the classic burger. This dish originated in the Caribbean, where the combination of coconut and lime is a staple in many traditional recipes. Renowned chef, Marcus Samuelsson, popularized this dish at his restaurant in Miami, infusing it with his signature blend of spices and flavors. The key to perfecting this dish lies in the marinade, where the turkey is infused with the creamy richness of coconut milk and the zesty tang of lime. Today, the best versions of this dish can be found in beachside restaurants across the Caribbean, where the tropical flavors truly shine. For a delicious alternative, consider grilling the turkey patty and topping it with a slice of grilled pineapple for an extra burst of sweetness.
