Ingredients
- 4 ripe tomatoes, sliced
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Arrange the sliced tomatoes and mozzarella on a serving platter, alternating and overlapping them.
- Tuck the fresh basil leaves in between the tomato and mozzarella slices.
- In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar to make the dressing.
- Drizzle the dressing over the tomato and mozzarella slices.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
