  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon fish sauce, and 1 teaspoon sugar. Set aside.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  • Add 4 cloves of minced garlic and 1 thinly sliced red chili. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the thinly sliced flank steak and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned.
  • Add the sliced bell pepper and continue to stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and peppers. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn off the heat and stir in 1 cup of fresh basil leaves until wilted.
  • Serve the Thai Basil Beef hot over steamed rice. Enjoy!
