- In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon onion powder. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

- Remove the pork chops from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Serve the grilled pork chops with any remaining BBQ glaze on the side. Enjoy!
Tangy BBQ Glazed Grilled Pork Chops have a rich history rooted in the American South, where barbecue traditions run deep. This dish is a testament to the fusion of flavors and techniques that define Southern cuisine. The tangy, sweet, and smoky flavors of the BBQ glaze perfectly complement the juicy, grilled pork chops. Renowned chefs like Bobby Flay and Emeril Lagasse have popularized this dish, adding their own unique twists to the classic recipe. Today, the best versions of this dish can be found in authentic Southern barbecue joints, where the pork is slow-cooked over hickory wood for that signature smoky flavor. The key to perfecting this dish lies in the balance of the tangy BBQ glaze and the tender, juicy pork chops, making it a favorite for barbecue enthusiasts everywhere.
