  • Strain the tamarind mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher, pressing on the pulp to extract all the liquid. Discard the pulp.
  • Stir in 1/2 cup of sugar until dissolved.
  • Add the juice of 1 lime to the pitcher and mix well.
  • Pour in 2 cups of cold water and stir to combine.
  • Refrigerate the tamarindo agua fresca until chilled, about 1-2 hours.
