Mexican

Taco salad has a rich history dating back to the 1960s when it first appeared on menus in Texas. This Tex-Mex dish quickly gained popularity across the United States, becoming a staple in Mexican restaurants and home kitchens. The dish typically consists of seasoned ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and tortilla chips, all topped with a zesty dressing. Chefs like Diana Kennedy and Rick Bayless have popularized their own versions of this dish, adding unique twists and flavors.
