Taco Salad

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 head lettuce, shredded
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup salsa
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup crushed tortilla chips
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook 1 lb of ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add 1 packet of taco seasoning to the cooked ground beef and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine 1 head of shredded lettuce, 1 cup of halved cherry tomatoes, 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup of diced red onion, and 1/2 cup of sliced black olives.
- In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup of sour cream with 1/4 cup of salsa to create the dressing.
- To assemble the salad, divide the lettuce mixture among 4 serving plates. Top each with the seasoned ground beef, a dollop of the sour cream dressing, and a sprinkle of chopped fresh cilantro and crushed tortilla chips.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
