Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1 9-inch pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- In a large skillet, cook 1 pound of ground beef and 1 small chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in 1 packet of taco seasoning mix and 1/2 cup of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Press the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish. Spoon the beef mixture into the pie crust.
- Spread 1 cup of salsa over the beef mixture. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Top with 1/2 cup of sour cream, 1/2 cup of chopped tomatoes, and 1/4 cup of sliced black olives.
